The Weekly Edge is a structured intelligence service for the regulated gambling industry. Entries are written by The Weekly Edge desk.
What we publish
One entry per development: a short factual summary in our own words, a line on why it matters, and structured fields for desk, companies, regulator, country, amount and date. Every entry links to its original source.
Entity pages for every company, regulator and country build a timeline from those entries. Monthly roundups total them up.
Method
Regulator notices, public procurement portals (EU TED and national lottery tender pages) and trade-press feeds are pulled automatically every day.
Each headline is filed under one of six desks by fixed rules, then tagged with companies, regulators and countries. Items that fit no desk are dropped.
Summaries use only facts stated by the source. Amounts are shown as reported, without conversion. We do not reproduce source articles.
Errors are corrected on the entry page. Data is available as JSON and CSV under CC BY 4.0.
